Who is the artist behind Swil Arts?

Hi, I’m Sara, the artist and founder of Swil Arts! My journey to becoming a full-time artist started in Poland, evolved through tech as a software engineer at Google, and brought me here to sunny San Diego. My art is influenced by my Polish roots, my life by the ocean, and experiences from over 50 countries. I’m also a queer artist, award-winning writer, and Reiki practitioner, bringing an eclectic mix of stories, mindfulness, and clarity to each piece.

What inspires your artwork?

My inspiration is everywhere—cityscapes, nature, everyday details, and personal moments. My Polish heritage and life in San Diego come together in unique ways on the page, and my Colombian partner has brought even more cultural richness into my world. I believe in the healing power of beauty, and every piece I create is meant to offer a calming escape and reflection of life’s intricate beauty.

For individual clients, I also create custom artworks that celebrate meaningful moments, like wedding paintings or special house portraits. Where can I find your artwork for sale outside of your online store?

In addition to my online shop, you can find my artwork at several locations in San Diego, including Gallery at Land’s End, Bazaar Del Mundo, Stroll, Nibble, and Vervor. My art is also available in FiftySix Shop, Koh Tao, Thailand. These stores carry a variety of my prints, so you can experience and purchase Swil Arts pieces in person.

At Swil Arts, I’m committed to creating beauty responsibly and with purpose. Eco-consciousness is central to my work—I make sustainable choices whenever possible, from supporting ethical production to minimizing waste and shopping at container-free stores. I offer carbon-neutral shipping on all online orders, funding revolutionary carbon removal projects to future-proof the planet.

In addition, I believe in giving back. That's why I donate 5% of every order to one of three impactful charities: Women’s Earth Alliance, Bloody Good Period, or Rainbow Railroad. This way, each purchase not only brings art into your life but also supports environmental justice, menstrual equity, and LGBTQ+ safety worldwide.

Shipping and Returns

Is Swil Arts shipping sustainable?

Absolutely! We’re committed to keeping our shipping carbon-neutral. We offset each shipment’s environmental impact by funding revolutionary carbon removal projects, designed to protect and future-proof our planet.

How will my order ship?

At Swil Arts, we use a print-on-demand model through Printify, which means that each order is printed and shipped directly by Printify on our behalf. Printify partners with multiple shipping carriers, selecting the best option for your order, and ensuring it arrives safely and in great condition.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping rates are calculated based on your order’s total and destination. When you add items to your cart and enter your shipping address at checkout, you’ll see the specific cost for your location. Some carriers may also adjust their rates during peak seasons, such as holidays.

How long does it take to process my order?

Once you place your order, it takes about 2-7 days, for most orders, to print and prepare your order for shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as it’s on its way! Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method and the order. During peak seasons, such as holidays, you may experience extended processing or delivery times. We recommend placing your order early if you need it by a specific date. Delays from the shipping carriers can happen and I am not responsible for them.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes! If you need your artwork faster, expedited shipping options are available at checkout. This option is great for those last-minute gifts or special occasions.

Can I ship items in a single order to multiple addresses?

Currently, we don’t support shipping items in a single order to different addresses. If you’d like to send items to separate addresses, please place a separate order for each address.

What is your return policy?

Swil Arts does not offer returns once a purchase has been completed. If there are any issues with your item upon arrival, such as damage or receiving an incorrect item, please reach out to support@swilarts.com within 14 days of receiving your package, and I’ll be happy to help.

What should I do if my item arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, please email me at support@swilarts.com within 14 days of receiving the package. Be sure to include photos of the damaged product and the packaging so I can assist you with a replacement or provide further guidance.
